Today I went shopping in the outlets with my mother which is one of my favorite things to do when visiting. I left my host's place before noon today and checked into the Holiday Inn by a little after 2. They gave me a great rate for staying longer term and there's a furnished apartment, extended stay place across the street that I'm going to talk to and see how they work out. My break is off to a quite good start. The two days of driving went without too many problems; lots of roadwork but the weather wasn't too bad.
